The First Chapter discusses the science of a concussion and describes what actually happens inside the brain when you sustain one. The Second Chapter discusses the helmet industry, and their role in the problem. The Third Chapter goes into how a concussion should be diagnosed and treated. The Fourth Chapter discusses how policymakers at both the state and federal levels have responded to the concussion crisis. Finally, in the Fifth Chapter I discuss the changes that need to be made in the game to make it safer for future football players.
