Book of Common Prayer, in Japanese.

Watkinson’s copy is missing all after p. 88 of vol. 1. Contents: Table of holy days from 1880-1892 -- Table of contents -- Morning Prayer -- Evening Prayer -- Litany from the Book of Common Prayer. Sections listed in the table of contents that are missing: Holy Communion, baptism of infants, private baptism, baptism of adults, the catechism, and the rite for confirmation--usually called the "Pastoral offices" or "Occasional offices" in liturgical bibliography. The cover identifies the source as an Anglo-American group of missionaries. Watkinson copy inscribed "Alice G. Tuttle from Sallie Sprague."
