Our research project focused on the relationship between environmental justice and housing, specifically the connection between lead poisoning and redlining in Hartford. In what neighborhoods in Hartford is lead poisoning still an issue? How does the presence of lead within these neighborhoods correlate with redlining and historic zoning policies? Why is lead poisoning still an issue in the city of Hartford?
