Abstract
Eight typescript letters (some on onion skin paper) related to the repair and expense of the gravestone of James Williams ("Professor Jim"), located in Old North Cemetery in Hartford. Several are copies of letters sent to alumni by Thomas S. Wadlow, Alumni Secretary for Trinity College. Also includes letter autographed by Trinity graduate William G. Mather (1857-1951), which was addressed to Dr. Remsen Ogilby, President of Trinity College (1920-1943). Pages 2-3, and separately, pages 6-7, were originally stapled together.
