Abstract

Slavoj Zizek has theorized the possibility of traversing the fantasy through immersion in cyberspace. We investigate this possibility, especially centering on its similarity to Adorno's understanding of aesthetics, wherein the ultimate experience of an autonomous aesthetic work is the destabilization of the coordinates of experience which it momentarily engenders.
